Lyric Dubee is an award winning, multi-genre artist born and raised near Toronto, Canada. Proficient and at ease playing many genres, he has extensively studied Classical through the Royal Conservatory of Music )Practical studies, Advanced Theory & Harmony), and Jazz.
Lyric has played in a number configurations including duos, trios, quartets, big bands and more. Aside from working on his own projects Lyric makes a majority of his living playing for others both live and in the studio. As a competent sight reader and having played on over 100 recorded tracks, Lyric has the skill set and experience to deliver the best performance to your project. Lyric also owns and operates a fully functioning tracking studio for his work with other artists. Your studio or his, Lyric can promise the highest quality audio for your project.

After 15 years of training and performing he has played over 500 shows ranging from weddings and fine dining, to cathedrals and auditorium stages. He toured internationally and is endorsed by Ernie Ball MusicMan Guitars, DV Mark Amps, Guitar Center. His most recent International Tour as a hired gun was with Kaya Stewart (daughter of Dave Stewart) opening for the GOGO’s on their farewell tour. The tour encompassed 21 shows at many famous venues including The Greek (LA), Massey Hall (TO) Webster Hall (NYC) and many more. Well versed in Rhythm and Lead guitar, Lyric can provide the performance to fill out your band, as well as supplying backing vocals for your upcoming show or tour.

Live Performances Highlights
Lyric has opened for or shared the stage with legendary names such as Blue Rodeo, Buddy Guy, Colin James, Rik Emmett (Triumph), Honeymoon Suite, Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi) and many more talented musicians.
He has performed in music festivals such as the Malibu Guitar Festival, IndieWeek, NXNE, CMW, Djangofest, SXSW, and headlined the Music By The Bay Festival. He was slotted to perform at Roxodus before the festival was cancelled.
International Performances include China and Japan “Young & Restless” Tour, Los Angles, New York and the GoGo’s Farewell Tour with Kaya Stewart.
